BEI also operates 3 in-house paint shops which can provide an internal capacity of 5400 sq ft. A recent major investment in the latest heating and extraction systems has enabled us to increase our capacity and reduce leadtimes.

We have the capability to paint up to 1000 columns per week, enabling us to assist with PFI contracts and large projects.

We offer finishes from simple T-Wash and Etch Primer, to Department of Transport specifications, such as G2A and G2B, PSX, Glass Flake Root treatments and top coat RAL finishes to any specific colour required.

Using the latest paint technologies, such as PSX700, and Glass Flake Root finishes we can provide our customers with high specification products that greatly extended a columns life.

We also have the flexibility to paint to a customers specific requirements.

 

 

Paint finishes available include;

G1  Root System (A Highways Agency root specification)

G2a & G2b Paint System (A Highways Agency specified 4 or 5 coat system applied over the full length of the column)

Bitumen Root (A standard black bitumen coating applied to the root and above ground level)

PSX700 (A durable high gloss siloxane finish for extended column life)

Glass Flake Root (A durable root finish for extended root life)

T-Wash and Primer (Primer coating suitable for a final coat on site)

Anti Graffiti/ Anti Fly Poster Coating (Non-stick surface coating - protects agains vandalism)
